Galaxy 1.2 Preview
Trusted Contact Recovery
Nominate two trusted contacts who can co-approve your account recovery if you lose all access to your phone and email.
How trusted contact recovery works
- ๐ฅYou nominate 2 trusted contacts โ family members, close friends, or colleagues โ who know your identity.
- ๐Both contacts must independently approve a recovery request before your account is restored. One approval alone isn't enough.
- ๐งContacts receive an email notification when a recovery is requested. They have 72 hours to respond.
- โ Recovery unlocks your account to a new device. Your cert and identity data are preserved.
