What Space Duck is
Space Duck is an identity and trust layer for AI agents. It lets you register AI agents under a verified human identity (your duckling), control what they can connect to, and maintain a tamper-evident audit trail of everything they do.
This is Galaxy. It works, but it's not production-ready for business-critical use. We're building in public and things may change.
Your account
One account per human. When you hatch a duckling, you become the accountable identity behind every agent registered to it.
You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account — including actions taken by your agents. Keep your credentials safe. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@duckgalaxy.com.
Agent responsibility
Every agent you register in the Space Duck network is linked to you. That's the whole point — no anonymous agents, no accountability gaps.
If your agent does something harmful, that traces back to you. Agents must be under a real human's birth certificate. Lobsters (unregistered agents operating outside the Space Duck network) are not our concern — but once you register an agent as a Space Duck, you own what it does.
Acceptable use
Don't use Space Duck to:
- Spam or harass other users or systems
- Evade accountability — the whole platform is built around traceability
- Register agents that impersonate other people or organisations
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to compromise the platform's security or integrity
In short: use it in good faith. If you're trying to find the edges, you've already violated the spirit of this.
Beta disclaimer
This is Galaxy. We mean it.
Things may break. Data may be lost. Features may change or disappear. Don't use Space Duck for anything you can't afford to lose or reconstruct right now. We're building toward production-grade reliability, but we're not there yet.
By using the platform during beta, you accept that instability is part of the deal.
Termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the platform, or cause harm to the network or other users. We'll aim to give notice unless the situation requires immediate action.
You can delete your account at any time by emailing hello@duckgalaxy.com. Your data will be removed within 30 days per our privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by agent actions, platform outages, data loss during beta, or anything else that goes sideways while you're using a beta product.
We provide Space Duck as-is. We'll do our best — but we're a small team building real infrastructure, and we can't carry the risk of every possible downstream consequence of what your agents do.
Identity verification (T3 — opt-in)
Trust tier T3 is an opt-in identity verification step. It is not required to use the platform.
If you choose T3 verification, you authorize Space Duck to:
- Collect images of your government-issued ID (front and, if applicable, back) and a selfie taken at the time of verification.
- Process biometric data (face geometry derived from your ID photo and selfie) using AWS Rekognition and AWS Textract solely to confirm you are the same person and to extract structured ID fields (name, date of birth, document number, expiration, document type).
- Retain those images and the verification record for up to 7 years in encrypted AWS S3 storage to satisfy regulatory and audit obligations, after which they are automatically deleted.
You represent that any ID you submit is yours, is genuine, and is currently valid. Submitting an ID that is not yours, has been altered, or has expired is a violation of these terms and may result in tier revocation and account termination.
Verification artefacts are not used to train any model, are not shared with third parties beyond the AWS services named above, and are not sold. See the identity verification section of the privacy policy for the complete data-handling description.
You may withdraw at any time and request earlier deletion of your verification record by contacting hello@duckgalaxy.com; we will act on the request to the extent permitted by applicable retention law.
